Shenette Ready To Log More Than 1,000 Miles Across Three States in the USNEPower Eighty-Two Services Modified

Modified driver and team owner John-Michael Shenette of Eighty-Two Autosport is preparing for one of the most demanding stretches of his season: five races in just eight days across three states, beginning Friday, July 11.

Starting in upstate New York and ending in New Hampshire, Shenette’s road trip will span more than 1,040 miles, kicking off from his home base in Charlotte and winding through a trio of high-stakes events on both the Race of Champions and NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour calendars — plus a stop at Stafford Speedway for the Monaco Modified Series presented by Better Built Basements GAF Modified Masters 80.

Shenette’s Race Week Schedule:

  • Friday, July 11 – Spencer Speedway (Williamson, N.Y.): 35th Annual Tommy Druar & Tony Jankowiak 110, Race of Champions Modified Series, presented by Whittaker Ford
  • Saturday, July 12 – Lancaster Speedway (Lancaster, N.Y.): NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour
  • Wednesday, July 16 – Stafford Speedway (Stafford Springs, Conn.): Monaco Modified Series presented by Better Built Basements, GAF Modified Masters 80
  • Saturday–Sunday, July 19–20 – Monadnock Speedway (Winchester, N.H.): Two-day NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour event

Total driving miles from Charlotte, N.C.:

  • Charlotte to Spencer Speedway: 584 miles
  • Spencer to Lancaster: 70 miles
  • Lancaster to Stafford: 330 miles
  • Stafford to Monadnock: 57 miles

Total: 1,041 miles

“This is the kind of stretch every racer lives for — new tracks, deep fields, and a chance to prove we belong,” Shenette said. “We’re bringing a brand-new LFR chassis, a strong RYR engine and a crew that’s ready to work. None of this would be possible without David Miller and the support of USNEPower. He’s believed in us since day one, and this week is about showing him — and everyone else — what Eighty-Two Autosport can do.”
