The first weather loss of the season has taken place at the Waterford Speedbowl.
With a forecast for rain through much of the day and evening, Waterford Speedbowl officials made an early decision to pull the plug Saturday morning, calling off tonight’s NASCAR Whelen All-American Series racing card at the track.
The Speedbowl had run the first five events of the 2013 season without any weather issues.
The Speedbowl will be back in action next Saturday for their annual Scout Night program.
